BRANCHES of U.P. WILD

Our seed began sprouting in Marquette County. Now our roots are expanding into branches across

the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Central UP : Marquette County

Founded in Marquette, we are the hub for U.P. Wild and hold events throughout Marquette County. U.P.-wide and Local lead coordinator is Lanni Lantto @lanni@upwild.org

Eastern UP : The Bridge

Covering Chippewa and Mackinac Counties. Our inaugural first gathering was held in August 2022. A group is meet monthly in the St. Ignace area. If you are interested in co-creating a wild church in this area contact Lanni.

Southern UP : Delta County

Currently meeting monthly in the Rapid River area. Local Coordinator is Rayford Ray: rayfordray@upepiscopal.org

Keweenaw UP

Covering Houghton & Keweenaw counties. Inaugural meeting was October 2022. Great group of core team plans monthly Wilderness Walks. Contact person is Lois Blau - lablau@mtu.edu

Menominee / Northern WI

We have a branch forming in Menominee who is actively meeting and looking for others to join. We also have a group forming in Northern Wisconsin (Worship in the Wild) which is meeting 4xs a year currently. Contact person is Pr. Catie Ford - pastorcatieford@gmail.com

NMU Art & Sol Healing

Art & Sol Healing Groups is about creating a community based around healing through art, nature, and conversation. See more HERE. We are partnered with HOPE campus ministry who has offered us their funky cafe meeting space on campus.

Northcoast UP :

From Grand Marais to Paradise/Soo - covering the northern coast of the UP. including Tahquamenon Falls. Group to begin meeting May 2024. Contact is Sharon beachgal260@hotmail.com.

West UP : Ironwood Area

We have interest in growing a community near Ironwood- contact us.
