NMU HEALING GROUP

SEPT 17- DEC 10 / NORTHERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY

We are creating a community based around healing through art, nature, and conversation that will meet 6 Saturdays in the Fall Semester.  Led by Intern, Natalie who feels that with the increased usage of technology, the high amounts of mental health issues on campus and our changing world, it is important to spend time on ourselves in intentional ways and to connect with our peers as much as possible. The first step to healing is being heard which enables us to take the next right step in our lives.  We gather for a variety of fun art projects & conversation!  Text Natalie @ (313)-618-4499 to join at any time.

A Special Hallow's Eve entry into a new season.  This is the day before All Hallows' Day, also known as All Saints' Day in the Christian calendar. The name derives from the Old English 'hallowed' meaning holy or sanctified and is now usually contracted to the more familiar word Halloween.  We are asking YOU to bring your favorite Saint to share and hear about some holy pilgrims to inspire us on our journey.  Our Nature Prayer Service is our time to gather outside in community.  What to expect: Welcome to our Bioregion, Passing the Peace, Wilderness Reflection, Wander & Ponder, Sharing Circle, Shared Prayers & Incense, Closing Poem.
