LADIES RETREAT!

Ladies work hard! May is a perfect time to celebrate their work in our community & families by RELAXING! We are offering an afternoon of BRUNCH + YOGA where the only commitment is to show up and have a good time. Introverts welcome. Space available for 10 - RSVP here. Event is FREE. (For those wishing to make a donation of $20/per person simply to cover costs, any proceeds will go to our ministry.) Bring Your Own Yoga Mat & Blanket.
WILDERNESS WALK
WED. MAY 25 / 6:00PM / SOUTH BEACH
We will be meeting at South Beach parking lot on Lake St. and walking the bike path. We encourage those wanting to experience a walk with us to come- easy mobility. Beautiful view of Lake Superior is a guarantee + good conversation while we take in the beauty of our urban area. We will stop in two areas for a reflection: one is a wetland ecotone and the other is by the Carp River to learn a little Anishinaabeg ancenstral history.

ASCENSION in the WILD: A wild way to honor the Ascension (rising of Jesus from earthly realm into Heavenly) is by listening to the newly emerging frogs raise their voices into the night. We will be gathering at a location in Gwinn for a dusk vigil in the wetlands-- simply... to listen. Please be prepared in sharing Ascension or Pentecost inspiration. Meet at the water tower, Forsyth Township, on Johnson Lake Rd in Gwinn. From 35 turn south on Johnson Lake Rd.

THRIFT STORE TOUR

We are collaborating with Silver Creek Church & Thrift Store to see how people's donations of unwanted items become another person's treasures! We will get a tour of the backroom and also see how clothes & items are sorted while learning how to REUSE as a part of our faith life. Geared towards kids but all ages of curiosity welcome. Small hike and time in the playground afterwards. Free. Meeting at 219 Silver Creek Rd, MQT.
