Our team is preparing for a busy summer of offerings - both virtual and in person. Tending to the seeds that will be planted to grow for you all so we can have a wonderful summer expoloring the beautiful UP. We are also recording podcasts and meeting with local farms to plan field trips.  If you have an idea for a hike or theme for a service please submit them via the contact page!

An Earth Day discussion for those wanting to share if they have made changes in their lives this past year, what those look like, and get support to make more. We encourage everyone to: 1.) REwatch the 2020 Earth Day Service found here.

2.) Come prepared to share & listen - be uplifted and encouraged. We will gather on Zoom for a discussion and if you are able, find an outdoor spot or walk and talk outside. Email lanni@upwild.org for link.

PLANT & POEM SWAP!

Celebrating our Common Home for Earth Weekend!

+ Bring a plant (either a bulb or a full grown) and/or come ready to adopt a plant! By caring for one seed of the Earth we begin the process of caring for our common home.

+ Bring a poem, song lyric, favorite verse or short reflection to share in circle- we ask everyone to consider participating open mic style.

+ Bring your own mug as we will have hot tea available

+ Celebrate and meet new people

+ Invite friends and bring family

+ Donations are received in gratitude

SAVING SEEDS- HOW TO

Seed Saving for the Practical Gardener:

Seed saving helps gardeners have access to the seeds they want to plant and grow – and this practice is an opportunity to delve deeper into the world of plants. In this virtual session, learn how to “read” your garden for seed saving, decide which kinds of seeds you’d like to save, and practice processing seeds for storage with a hands-on activity kit. We’ll also have time for Q&A on gardening and seed saving with seed savers from Queen City Seed Library. Abbey Palmer, Community Food Systems Educator from MSU Exention will faciliate.
